Venezia was built during the period 2003-2006 by GHA Communities. Venezia is ideally located near the center of Palm Desert, CA at the intersection of Portola Ave. and Hovley Lane East (entrance gate on Portola).

This location is close to Palm Desert elementary, middle and high schools and adjacent to the James Earl Carter Elementary School. Nearby attractions or public facilities include the El Paseo Shopping District, Westfield Mall, Desert Willow Golf Course, Eisenhower Medical Center, McCallum Theater, and the Living Desert.
